AI-Tourguide runs entirely in your web browser — there is nothing to download or install, and you can try it for free:

  2. Pick a ready-made tour, or generate your own: enter any city and any theme you like.
  3. Start the tour. The map guides you to the first stop, and your guide greets you and starts telling stories — every new user gets free credits, no account or payment details needed.

This is not an audio guide and not a question-answering bot. Your guide speaks first: it greets you, tells the story of the place you're standing in, asks you questions, remembers your answers, and shapes the rest of the tour around what interests you.

Do I need to install an app?
No. AI-Tourguide is a web app — it runs directly in your browser (Safari, Chrome, and other modern browsers). Just open ai-tourguide.net/guide and start.
Do I need an account?
Not to try it — you get free credits without signing up. Creating an account (email + password) is useful when you buy credits or want to keep your tours and balance across devices.
What does it cost?
Starting is free thanks to your free credits. After that you choose: pay as you go at about €5 per hour of guide conversation, or take a €20 all-inclusive pass for your tour. You only pay for the time the guide is actually speaking with you — walking, reading, and browsing cost nothing. All prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Which cities are available?
All of them. You can generate a tour for any city in the world. For around 150 popular cities we also offer ready-made, curated tours you can start with one tap.
How is this different from an audio guide?
An audio guide plays recordings. Your AI guide has a real conversation with you: it leads the tour, reacts to what you say, answers your questions, remembers what interests you, and adapts the rest of the tour to it. No two tours are the same.
Can I skip stops or pause the tour?
Yes. You choose your starting point, you can move to the next stop whenever you want, and you can pause anytime and continue later — even on another day.
Does it work offline?
No — the guide thinks and speaks in real time, which needs an internet connection. A regular mobile data connection is enough.
Can I get a refund?
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days — unused purchases are refunded in full. The details are in our Terms of Service. Something went wrong with a purchase? Just email us.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email us at [email protected] and we will delete your account. Tours and conversations are stored in your own browser and disappear when you clear your browser data — see our Privacy Policy.

🔧 Troubleshooting

🎤 The guide can't hear me

Your browser needs microphone permission. When asked, tap "Allow". If you declined earlier: open your browser's site settings for ai-tourguide.net and enable the microphone, then reload the page. You can always use text input instead.

🔇 I can't hear the guide

Check your media volume and the mute switch on your phone. Browsers only play audio after you have interacted with the page — tap once into the app if the voice doesn't start.

📍 My position is missing or jumps around

Allow location access for your browser when asked (and make sure location is enabled for the browser in your phone's settings). GPS is most accurate outdoors with a clear view of the sky.

🌐 The page doesn't load properly

If you opened the link inside another app (Instagram, TikTok, a messenger), use "Open in browser" — in-app browsers restrict microphone and payments. Otherwise, reload the page or try an up-to-date Safari or Chrome.

💳 My purchase isn't showing up

Reload the app once — credits usually appear within seconds after payment. If they don't, email us with the address you used at checkout and we'll fix it.

🔋 Battery tips for long tours

A city tour uses GPS and audio for a while. Start with a charged phone, lower screen brightness between stops, and consider a small power bank for all-day exploring.
