Expect damp, often overcast days and a town settling into a cosy, low-key winter rhythm.

The vibe Quiet and a little melancholy, in a good way. This is bargain-hunter and spa-lover territory, with the lowest prices outside January and the WunderDorf market just getting started. Not a month for sunshine, very much a month for the steaming outdoor pool.
